Rev. Anthony Gilbert began serving as the minister at the McLeod
Memorial Presbyterian Church in December 2018. A native of
Kentucky, he has served churches in both Kentucky and Florida, plus as
a foreign missionary in the country of Brazil.
Anthony is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and has two
earned master’s degrees from seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He
takes enjoyment from involving himself in community affairs and is
employed as a substitute schoolteacher here in Polk County.
As a member of the Presbytery of the Tampa Bay, Anthony is an
active participant on the Committee/Commission on Ministry. He also
serves as minister at the First Presbyterian Church of Fort Meade,
Florida.
